Kṛṣṇa-vakṣa-sthala-sthitā
Beautiful Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī is the queen and origin of the rāsa dance. She gives pleasure to Kṛṣṇa, the Supersoul. She is His beloved and always rests on His chest.

She dwells in Goloka Vṛndāvana as a gopī, the queen of cowherd girls and the mother of cowherd boys. Blissful and supremely joyful, she arouses desire in Nanda's son, Kṛṣṇa.

Kāmyā Kālavati-kanyā
Tīrtha-putrā Satī Śubhā
Rādhā, the daughter of Vṛṣabhānu, is serene, lovely, and fully satisfied. She is delightful, the daughter of Kālavati, purifier of holy places, and supremely chaste.

Sarvebhyo ’pi vinirmuktam
Kuru Rādhe Suraśvarī
O Rādhā, I am terrified in the ocean of birth and death and take shelter in you. O queen of the gods, free me from all fear and bondage.
Tvat-pāda-padma-yugale
Pāda-padmalayārcite
Dehi mahyaṁ paraṁ bhaktiṁ
Kṛṣṇena parisevite
O Rādhikā, grant me pure devotion to your twin lotus feet, which are worshiped by Brahmā and Lakṣmī, and lovingly served by Kṛṣṇa Himself.
