Rudra Hanumān Bīja Mantra

ॐ हं हनुमते रुद्रात्मकाय हुं फट् स्वाहा।

Om Haṁ Hanumate Rudrātmakāya Huṁ Phaṭ Svāhā

Om! I invoke Hanumān, whose essence is Rudra. With the force of Haṁ, Huṁ, and Phaṭ, I offer this mantra to destroy obstacles and negativity.

This mantra calls upon Hanumān in his most fierce, protective, and unstoppable form.

It is charged with prāṇa (life force) and rudra-energy to:

• Destroy obstacles,
• Protect from harm,
• Clear negative energies,
• Strengthen inner courage and spiritual will.

Huṁ and Phaṭ particularly make this a "shattering" mantra — breaking through difficulties, internal blocks, and spiritual ignorance.

Śrī Rāma-Dūta Hanumān Bīja Mantra

ॐ ऐं भ्रीं हनुमते श्रीरामदूताय नमः

Om Aiṁ Bhrīṁ Hanumate Śrī-Rāma-Dūtāya Namaḥ

Om! I bow to Hanumān, the messenger of Śrī Rāma,
invoking divine wisdom, power, and protection.

Aiṁ invokes spiritual wisdom — reminding that Hanumān is not just strong, but also supremely intelligent and spiritually realized.

Bhrīṁ invokes expansive divine power, energy, and fearlessness.

Hanumān is honored as the perfect servant, protector, and champion of dharma.

Chanting this mantra calls upon Hanumān’s blessings for:

महाबलाय धीमहि

Om! Let us contemplate Añjaneya, the mighty son of Añjanā.
We meditate upon Hanumān, one of immense strength.

Hanumān Dhyāna Stotram

atulita-bala-dhāmaṁ hema-śailābha-deham
danuja-vana-kṛśāṇaṁ jñāninām-agra-gaṇyam |
sakala-guṇa-nidhānaṁ vānarāṇām-adhiśaṁ
raghupati-priya-bhaktaṁ vātajātaṁ namāmi ||

I bow to Hanumān, the abode of incomparable strength,
whose body shines like a golden mountain,
who burns the forest of demons like a raging fire,
who is foremost among the wise, the repository of all virtues,
the lord of the vānaras, and the beloved devotee of Raghupati (Lord Rāma),
the one born from the wind god.

• atulita-bala-dhāmaṁ (अतुलितबलधामं) = the abode of incomparable strength
• hema-śaila-abha-deham (हेमशैलाभदेहम्) = whose body shines like a golden mountain
• danuja-vana-kṛśāṇam (दनुजवनकृषाणं) = the fire that burns the forest of demons
• jñāninām-agra-gaṇyam (ज्ञानिनामग्रगण्यम्) = foremost among the wise and knowledgeable

kapīśam akṣa-hantāraṁ vande laṅkā-bhayaṅkaram ||

I bow to Hanumān,
who made the mighty ocean appear like a mere hoof-print,
who reduced the powerful demons to the size of mosquitoes,
and who is the shining jewel in the great garland of the Rāmāyaṇa.
the brave son of Añjanā, the destroyer of Sītā’s sorrow,
the lord of the vānaras, the slayer of Akṣa, and the terror of the city of Laṅkā.

• goṣpadī-kṛta-vārāśīm (गोष्पदीकृतवाराशीम्) = who made the vast ocean appear like a puddle (a cow’s hoof-print)
• maṣakī-kṛta-rākṣasām (मषकीकृतराक्षसाम्) = who made the mighty demons seem like mosquitoes
• rāmāyaṇa-mahā-mālā-ratnam (रामायणमहालामारत्नम्) = the jewel among the great garland of the Rāmāyaṇa
• vande (वन्दे) = I bow to, I worship
• nīlātmajam (नीलात्मजम्) = the son of the wind-god (Vāyu), Hanumān
• añjanā-nandanam (अञ्जनानन्दनम्) = the joyful son of Añjanā
• vīram (वीरम्) = the brave, heroic one
• jānakī-śoka-nāśanam (जानकीशोकनाशनम्) = the destroyer of Sītā’s sorrow

• laṅkā-bhayaṅkaram (लङ्काभयङ्करम्) = the terror of Laṅkā (the capital of Rāvaṇa)

ullaṅghya sindhoḥ salilaṁ salīlam yaḥ śoka-vahniṁ janakātmajāyāḥ |
ādaya tenaiva dadāha laṅkāṁ namāmi taṁ prāñjalir āñjaneyam ||

With folded hands, I bow to Añjaneya (Hanumān),
who gracefully crossed the ocean’s waters,
took upon himself the sorrowful fire of Sītā (Janaka’s daughter),
and with that very fire, burned down the city of Laṅkā.

• ullaṅghya (उल्लङ्घ्य) = having crossed over / leapt across
• sindhoḥ (सिन्धोः) = of the ocean (genitive of sindhu)
• salilam (सलिलं) = water
• salīlam (सलीलं) = gracefully, playfully, effortlessly
• yaḥ (यः) = he who
• śoka-vahnim (शोकवह्निं) = the fire of sorrow (śoka = sorrow, vahni = fire)
• janakātmajāyāḥ (जनकात्मजायाः) = of Janaka’s daughter (i.e., Sītā)
• ādaya (आदाय) = having taken / bearing
• tena eva (तेनैव) = with that very (fire)
• dadāha (ददाह) = he burned
• laṅkām (लङ्काम्) = Laṅkā (the city of the demons)
• namāmi (नमामि) = I bow down
• tam (तं) = to that one
• prāñjaliḥ (प्राञ्जलिः) = with folded hands
• āñjaneyam (आञ्जनेयम्) = son of Añjanā (Hanumān)

manojavaṁ māruta-tulya-vegam jitendriyaṁ buddhimatāṁ variṣṭham
vātātmajaṁ vānarāyutha-mukhyam śrī-rāma-dūtaṁ śaraṇaṁ prapadye
añjaneya mati-pāṭalānanam kāñcanādri-kamanīya-vigraham
pārijāta-taru-mūla-vāsinam bhāvayāmi pāvamanānandanam

I surrender to Hanumān, who is swift as the mind and wind,
master of the senses, supreme among the wise,
the son of Vāyu, and commander of the monkey army,
the divine messenger of Lord Rāma.
I meditate upon Anjaneya, whose face glows red with brilliance,
whose form is as splendid as a golden mountain,
who dwells beneath the pārijāta tree,
and who is the blissful son of the wind-god.

• manojavam (मनोजवम्) = swift as the mind
• māruta-tulya-vegam (मारुततुल्यवेगम्) = having speed equal to the wind (māruta = wind, vegam = speed)
• jitendriyam (जितेन्द्रियम्) = conqueror of the senses
• buddhimatām (बुद्धिमताम्) = among the intelligent
• variṣṭham (वरिष्ठम्) = the best, the foremost
• vātātmajam (वातात्मजम्) = son of Vāyu (wind god)
• vānarāyutha-mukhyam (वानरायुथमुख्यम्) = chief among the monkey warriors
• śrī-rāma-dūtam (श्रीरामदूतम्) = the divine messenger of Lord Rāma
• śaraṇaṁ prapadye (शरणं प्रपद्ये) = I take refuge in / I surrender to
• añjaneya (अञ्जनेय) = son of Añjanā
• mati-pāṭala-ānanam (मतिपाटलाननम्) = red-faced with intelligence (pāṭala = reddish; ānana = face)
• kāñcanādri (काञ्चनाद्रि) = like a golden mountain
• kamanīya-vigraham (कमनीयविग्रहम्) = with an enchanting/beautiful form
• pārijāta-taru-mūla (पारिजाततरुमूल) = at the base of the heavenly pārijāta tree
• vāsinam (वासिनम्) = the dweller
• bhāvayāmi (भावयामि) = I meditate upon / I revere
• pāvamāna-ānandanam (पावमाना नन्दनम्) = the joyous son of the wind-god (another name for Hanumān)

yatra yatra raghunātha-kīrtanam tatra tatra kṛta-mastakāñjalim |
bāṣpa-vāri-paripūrṇa-locanaṁ mārutiṁ nāmata rākṣasāntakam ||

Wherever the name of Raghunātha (Rāma) is chanted,
there Hanumān appears, with bowed head and folded hands,
eyes brimming with tears of devotion.
I bow to Māruti, the destroyer of demons.

• yatra yatra (यत्र यत्र) = wherever, in all places where
• raghunātha-kīrtanam (रघुनाथकीर्तनम्) = the chanting or glorification of Raghunātha (Lord Rāma)
• tatra tatra (तत्र तत्र) = there too, in every such place
• kṛta-mastaka-añjalim (कृतमस्तकाञ्जलिम्) = with folded hands and bowed head (añjali = gesture of reverence)
• bāṣpa-vāri (बाष्पवारि) = tears (of devotion or emotion)
• paripūrṇa (परिपूर्ण) = filled
• locanam (लोचनम्) = eyes
• mārutim (मारुतिम्) = the son of the wind-god (Vāyu), i.e., Hanumān
• nāmata (नामत) = bow down to / salute
• rākṣasa-antakam (राक्षसान्तकम्) = the destroyer of demons
