कर्णे लम्बितमौक्तिकम् ।
चैतन्याग्रजरूपेण
पवित्रीकृतभूतलम् ॥

caitanyāgraja-rūpeṇa
pavitrī-kṛta-bhūtalam
Translation:
I offer my respectful obeisances to Śrī Nityānanda, on whose ear a pearl earring swings.
Taking the form of the elder brother of Caitanya, He sanctified the earth.
प्रणम्य श्रीजगन्नाथं
नित्यानन्दमहाप्रभुम् ।
नाम्नामष्टोत्तरशतं
प्रवक्ष्यामि मुदाकरम् ॥
praṇamya śrī-jagannāthaṁ
nityānanda-mahāprabhum
nāmnām aṣṭottara-śatam
pravakṣyāmi mudākaram
Translation:
Bowing to Śrī Jagannātha and Śrī Nityānanda Mahāprabhu,
I shall now joyfully recite His 108 names, which bring bliss to the heart.

Om Nīlāmbara-Dharāya Namaḥ
To the one who wears blue garments
Nityānanda is adorned in deep blue cloth, symbolic of his transcendental, serene nature.

Om Śrīmate Lāṅgūline Namaḥ
To the glorious wielder of the plough
He holds the plough as a symbol of strength and connection to Balarāma, the original source of Nityānanda.

Om Musala-Priyāya Namaḥ
To the one who delights in the club
He joyfully wields the mace-like club, displaying his prowess in subduing demonic forces.

To Śaṅkarṣaṇa, the integrator of the cosmos
This name identifies Him with Śaṅkarṣaṇa, the cosmic expansion of Lord Viṣṇu responsible for universal cohesion.

He is supremely skilled in the divine art of dancing in ecstatic love, leading the rāsa festival of bliss.

He is the beloved of the enchanting damsels of Vraja, who serve Him with love and devotion.

His divine eyes sway and roll, overwhelmed with the nectar of prema, expressing the bliss of spiritual intoxication.

To the one who becomes weary from the festival of rasa
He dances and delights so vigorously in divine pastimes that even He becomes playfully tired.

Om Gharma-Nirāvṛtānanāya Namaḥ
To the one whose face is covered with sweat
Engaged deeply in divine play, His glowing face glistens with droplets of divine perspiration.

ॐ कालिन्दीभेदनोत्साहिने नमः
Om Kālindī-Bhedanotsāhine Namaḥ
To the one who enthusiastically split the Kālindī River
With His plough, He divided the river Yamunā (Kālindī) to protect and reveal His strength and glory.

Om Nīra-Krīḍā-Kutūhalāya Namaḥ
To the one eager for water sports
Delighting in joyful pastimes, He is enthusiastic about playing in the sacred waters of divine rivers.

Nityānanda eternally takes refuge in Lord Gaurāṅga, serving Him with unwavering devotion.

He adorns His body with a garland of wild forest blossoms, embodying Vraja's natural charm.

As Hari, He destroys the ignorance and attachments that bind the soul in saṁsāra.

To the one ornamented with rocana and other cosmetics
His divine form is anointed with auspicious substances like rocana (yellow pigment), enhancing His beauty.

To the one whose arms resemble the trunks of elephants
His mighty arms are long, thick, and graceful, likened to the majestic trunks of royal elephants.

His majestic gait evokes the stately elegance of the lord of elephants, filled with royal charm.

To the one who mesmerizes all people
His beauty and divine qualities captivate the hearts and minds of everyone in the world.

To the one who beholds and enacts auspicious divine pastimes
He reveals blissful, divine lilās that veil His supreme position while bestowing joy upon the devotees.

His countenance radiates cooling brilliance and beauty, like the moon in its full glory.

Om Sindūrāruṇa-Susnigdhāya Namaḥ
To the one of soft, vermilion-red hue
His tender glow is like the color of sindūra or bimba fruit, filled with divine charm and sweetness.

Om Subimba-Ādhara-Pallavāya Namaḥ
To the one with lips like tender bimba fruit
His lips bloom like red bimba fruits—soft, radiant, and utterly enchanting.

To the one who dwells amidst His devotees
He remains constantly surrounded by and immersed in the loving company of His dear devotees.

As the original Balarāma, He is the beloved of Revati Devī, master of her heart and soul.

He carries an iron staff (daṇḍa), symbolizing both protection and discipline against unrighteousness.

As Lakṣmaṇa, He appeared as the dear son of Daśaratha, full of beauty and valor.

Om Vīra-Lakṣmaṇāya Namaḥ
To the heroic Lakṣmaṇa
He is the incarnation of Lakṣmaṇa, full of strength and fearless devotion to Rāma.

ॐ सर्वावत्सलभाय नमः
Om Sarvāval-Labhāya Namaḥ
To the one by whom all is attained
Attaining Him is like attaining everything—He is the supreme treasure of all existence.

ॐ सदोज्ज्वलाय नमः
Om Sadojjvalāya Namaḥ
To the one who is always effulgent
His brilliance never fades, radiating transcendental beauty and divine light eternally.

ॐ रसानन्दिने नमः
Om Rasānandine Namaḥ
To the enjoyer of transcendental relationships
He is immersed in the joy of loving relationships with Kṛṣṇa and His devotees.

ॐ वृन्दावनरसप्रदाय नमः
Om Vṛndāvana-Rasa-Pradāya Namaḥ
To the giver of Vṛndāvana rasa
He bestows the sweet mood and blissful essence of Vṛndāvana upon the sincere seeker.

ॐ पूर्णप्रेमसुधासिन्धवे नमः
Om Pūrṇa-Prema-Sudhā-Sindhave Namaḥ
To the ocean of the nectar of full divine love
He is an endless sea of love for Kṛṣṇa, overflowing with the nectar of prema for the entire world.

ॐ नाट्यलीलाविशारदाय नमः
Om Nāṭya-Līlā-Viśāradāya Namaḥ
To the expert in divine dramatic pastimes
He is deeply skilled in expressing spiritual truth through play, dance, and divine drama.

ॐ कोट्यिन्दुवैभवाय नमः
Om Koṭīndu-Vaibhavāya Namaḥ
To the one whose splendor equals millions of moons
His beauty and cooling power surpasses countless moons, soothing and dazzling the soul.

Om Śrīmate Namaḥ
To the illustrious one
He is full of auspiciousness, glory, and divine wealth, worshiped by gods and sages alike.

ॐ जगदाह्लादकारकाय नमः
Om Jagad-Āhlāda-Kārakāya Namaḥ
To the one who brings joy to the world
He infuses the world with happiness through his mercy, leelas, and sacred presence.

ॐ गोपालाय नमः
Om Gopālāya Namaḥ
To the cowherd
He is the eternal protector of cows, delighting in the simple and sweet life of Vraja.

ॐ सर्वपालाय नमः
Om Sarva-Pālāya Namaḥ
To the protector of all
He guards all beings—devotees, sages, and even sinners—with fatherly affection.

ॐ सर्वगोपावतंसकाय नमः
Om Sarva-Gopa-Avataṁsakāya Namaḥ
To the crest-jewel of all cowherd boys
Among all the divine cowherd boys, He shines foremost, beloved of all in Gokula and Vraja.
माघे मासि शुक्लपक्षे त्रयोदश्यां तिथौ सदा।
उपोषणं पूजनं च श्रीनित्यानन्दवासरे॥
Māghe Māsi Śukla-Pakṣe Trayodaśyāṁ Tithau Sadā
Upoṣaṇaṁ Pūjanaṁ Ca Śrī-Nityānanda-Vāsare
On the thirteenth day of the bright fortnight in the month of Māgha,
One who fasts and worships on the appearance day of Śrī Nityānanda...
यद् यत् सः कुरुते कामं तत् तत् एव लभेत् नरः॥
Yad Yat Saḥ Kurute Kāmaṁ Tat Tat Eva Labheta Naraḥ
Whatever desire one sincerely offers during such worship,
That very wish is surely fulfilled by His mercy.
असाध्य-रोगयुक्तोऽपि मुच्यते गद-भिषणात्।
अपुत्रः साधु-पुत्रं च लभते नात्र संशयः॥
Asādhya-Rogayukto'pi Mucyate Gada-Bhiṣaṇāt
Aputraḥ Sādhu-Putraṁ Ca Labhate Nātra Saṁśayaḥ
Even if afflicted with incurable diseases, one becomes free from fearsome illness,
And a childless man surely obtains a noble son—of this, there is no doubt.
नित्यानन्दस्वरूपस्य नाम्नामष्टोत्तरं शतम्।
यः पठेत् प्रातरुत्थाय सः प्रेम हि लभेद् ध्रुवम्॥
Nityānanda-Svarūpasya Nāmnām Aṣṭottaraṁ Śatam
Yaḥ Paṭhet Prātar-Utthāya Saḥ Prema Hi Labhet Dhruvam
One who recites these one hundred and eight names of Śrī Nityānanda each morning,
Certainly attains divine love (prema) without fail.
इति श्रीसर्वभौमभट्टाचार्यपादविरचितं
श्रीनित्यानन्दाष्टोत्तरशतनामस्तोत्रं सम्पूर्णम्॥
Iti Śrī-Sarvabhauma-Bhaṭṭācārya-Pāda-Viracitaṁ
Śrī-Nityānanda-Aṣṭottara-Śata-Nāma-Stotraṁ Sampūrṇam
