Mahālakṣmī Bīja Mantra

ॐ श्रीं ह्रीं क्लीं महालक्ष्म्यै नमः।

oṁ śrīṁ hrīṁ klīṁ mahālakṣmyai namaḥ

Om — Salutations to Mahālakṣmī,
who is invoked through the sacred seed syllables:
Śrīṁ (abundance), Hrīṁ (divine power), and Klīṁ (attraction).

• Śrīṁ (श्रीं): The bīja of Lakṣmī, associated with prosperity, beauty, and grace.
• Hrīṁ (ह्रीं): Known as the Mahāśakti bīja, it invokes spiritual radiance, compassion, and purity.
• Klīṁ (क्लीं): The Kāma bīja, representing divine attraction, love, and magnetism.
• Mahālakṣmyai (महालक्ष्म्यै): The dative form, “to Mahālakṣmī,” the Supreme Goddess of abundance and auspiciousness.

This mantra is:

• A complete invocation of divine feminine power in its manifest (Śrīṁ), spiritual (Hrīṁ), and relational (Klīṁ) forms.
• Used for attracting material wealth, emotional fulfillment, and spiritual abundance.

Lakṣmī Gāyatrī Mantra

ॐ महादेव्यै च विद्महे
विष्णुपत्न्यै च धीमहि
तन्नो लक्ष्मीः प्रचोदयात्॥

oṁ mahādevyai ca vidmahe
viṣṇupatnyai ca dhīmahi
tanno lakṣmīḥ pracodayāt

Om — Let us contemplate the Great Goddess (Mahādevī),
Let us meditate on the Consort of Viṣṇu,
May that Goddess Lakṣmī inspire and illumine our intellect.

• Mahādevī (महादेवी): "The Great Goddess" — highlights Lakṣmī’s universal and supreme feminine aspect.
• Viṣṇupatnī (विष्णुपत्नि): "The consort of Viṣṇu" — affirms her as Śrī, who dwells eternally with Nārāyaṇa.
• Lakṣmīḥ (लक्ष्मीः): The name of the goddess who brings wealth, auspiciousness, harmony, and spiritual fulfillment.

Śrī Lakṣmī Gāyatrī (Devī-Gaṇeśa Saṁhitā variant)

ॐ श्रीदेव्यै च विद्महे
पद्महस्तायै धीमहि
तन्नो लक्ष्मीः प्रचोदयात्॥

oṁ śrīdevyai ca vidmahe
padmahastāyai dhīmahi
tanno lakṣmīḥ pracodayāt

We meditate upon Śrī Devī, who holds the lotus in her hand; may Lakṣmī inspire our minds.

The Śrīdevī–Padmahastā Lakṣmī Gāyatrī honors Lakṣmī in her serene, lotus-bearing form — the embodiment of grace, beauty, and auspicious presence. It emphasizes her role as a gentle bestower of blessings rather than a cosmic power or consort alone.

Instead of requesting wealth, the mantra seeks inner illumination and clarity. It aligns the devotee with sattvic abundance, where peace, devotion, and spiritual refinement naturally give rise to lasting prosperity.

Padmālakṣmī Gāyatrī

ॐ पद्मालयायै विद्महे
पद्माक्ष्यै धीमहि
तन्नो लक्ष्मीः प्रचोदयात्॥

oṁ padmālayāyai vidmahe
padmākṣyai dhīmahi
tanno lakṣmīḥ pracodayāt

For meditating on Lakṣmī dwelling in the lotus, with lotus-like eyes; ideal for inner peace and divine beauty.

• Lotus represents detachment, as it grows in mud yet remains untouched.
• Padmālakṣmī thus embodies spiritual wealth, purity amidst worldly life, and inner blossoming of wisdom and beauty.

Rājya Lakṣmī Gāyatrī (For Success & Leadership)

ॐ सामराज्यलक्ष्म्यै विद्महे
विष्णुप्रियायै धीमहि
तन्नो लक्ष्मीः प्रचोदयात्॥

oṁ sāmarājyalakṣmyai vidmahe
viṣṇu-priyāyai dhīmahi
tanno lakṣmīḥ pracodayāt

Om — Let us contemplate Sāmarājya Lakṣmī,
Let us meditate upon the beloved of Viṣṇu,
May Lakṣmī inspire and illumine our intellect.

This mantra specifically honors Sāmarājya Lakṣmī, the form of Lakṣmī associated with:

• Sovereignty (sāmarājya) — the rulership over self and society
• Stability, dharma, nobility, and natural authority
• Inner qualities of wise leadership, responsibility, and virtue

Unlike the Padmahastā or Padmākṣī Gāyatrīs, which focus on beauty and serenity, this mantra centers on dignified rulership, command, and societal upliftment.

To invoke Lakṣmī as the giver of royal fortune, status, and influence, especially helpful for leaders or those in authority.

Aṣṭalakṣmī Gāyatri

ॐ सन्तानलक्ष्म्यै विद्महे
बालारूपायै धीमहि
तन्नो देवी प्रचोदयात्॥

oṁ santānalakṣmyai vidmahe
bālārūpāyai dhīmahi
tanno devī pracodayāt

Om — Let us contemplate Santāna Lakṣmī,
Let us meditate on her child-like form,
May that Divine Goddess inspire and guide our intellect.

Santāna Lakṣmī, one of the eight primary forms of Lakṣmī known as the Aṣṭalakṣmīs. Santāna Lakṣmī is the bestower of offspring, fertility, family continuity, and the protection and prosperity of children.

Her bāla-rūpa — childlike form — symbolizes innocence, purity, fertility, and the creative power of motherhood.

It is used by devotees seeking:

• Blessings for conception
• Safe childbirth
• Well-being and longevity of children
• Spiritual and cultural continuity through generations
