Tārā mantra

ॐ तारे तुत्तारे तुरे स्वाहा

Om Tāre Tuttāre Ture Svāhā

• तारे (Tāre): Calling upon Tārā, “The One Who Liberates” — she helps beings cross over suffering to reach awakening.
• तुत्तारे (Tuttāre): Represents freedom from fears, especially those caused by external dangers (natural disasters, illness, violence, etc.).
• तुरे (Ture): Symbolizes freedom from internal fears such as ignorance, desire, and delusion, leading toward complete spiritual liberation.

This is a mantra of liberation, compassion, and swift assistance. It’s often used to:

• Calm fear and anxiety
• Protect from obstacles and harm
• Develop inner courage and clarity
• Invoke Tārā’s compassionate presence

In Tibetan Buddhism, Green Tārā is seen as a mother figure who responds instantly to the cries of suffering beings. Her mantra reflects her ability to act quickly, protect fiercely, and lead one to enlightenment.

ॐ तारे तुत्तारे तुरे मम आयुः पुण्य ज्ञान पुष्टिṁ कुरु स्वाहा

Om Tāre Tuttāre Ture Mama Āyuh Puṇya Jñāna Puṣtiṁ Kuru Svāhā

Om, O Tārā, the liberator, grant me increase in life, merit, wisdom, and abundance. May it be so.
