Mahabharata

The Mahābhārata is the world's longest epic and a timeless spiritual treasure of ancient India. Composed by Vyāsa, it weaves together mythology, history, philosophy, and devotion into a single vast narrative. At its heart lies the Kurukṣetra War, fought between the noble Pāṇḍavas and the ambitious Kauravas, but the epic expands far beyond the battlefield.

It contains the revered Bhagavad Gītā, a sacred dialogue between Kṛṣṇa and Arjuna that offers profound guidance on dharma (righteous action), karma, detachment, and spiritual realization. The Mahābhārata also explores ethics, kingship, justice, divine intervention, and the consequences of human choice.

A cultural and philosophical encyclopedia, the Mahābhārata is not just a story—it is a reflection of human nature, moral complexity, and the pursuit of liberation (mokṣa). Its teachings remain deeply relevant in every age.
