One of the eighteen Mahāpurāṇas, spoken by Viṣṇu to Garuḍa. It is the source of the graded comparison that Jīva Gosvāmī cites in Bhakti-sandarbha: among thousands of brāhmaṇas the sacrificer, among thousands of those the master of Vedānta, and beyond them all the ekāntī.
