The commentator whose Bhagavad-gītā and Bhāgavatam commentaries the Gauḍīya ācāryas hold in particular respect. On Bhagavad-gītā 2.13 he explains continuity through the recognition sa evāham — “I am that very same one” — the same self persisting through childhood, youth and old age.
