“His own form” — in Kṛṣṇadāsa Kavirāja’s taxonomy of divine forms, the original from which every other manifestation derives, identified as the two-armed cowherd Kṛṣṇa of Vraja. Distinguished from a prakāśa, which is the svayaṁ-rūpa self-manifested, and from a vilāsa, which is a distinct though non-different form.
