Śrī Rādhā’s address to a bumblebee in Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam 10.47, where rejection and longing are spoken in the same breath: “Enough of friendship with that dark one — yet the subject of His stories is impossible to give up.” Kṛṣṇadāsa Kavirāja cites it as the scriptural precedent for Mahāprabhu’s own ecstatic speech.
