Saṁvit is the knowing function of Kṛṣṇa’s internal potency — the power by which He knows Himself and by which others come to know Him. With hlādinī, the power of delight, and sandhinī, the power of existence, it forms the threefold svarūpa-śakti described in Viṣṇu Purāṇa 1.12.69.
