The Śākta tradition of Lalitā, worshipped in the Brahmāṇḍa Purāṇa’s Lalitopākhyāna and its allied texts. Its theology treats the guru’s body as sharing the Goddess’s own nature, so that initiation conveys grace — prasāda — rather than information, and the disciple is said to take on that same form.
