The forest garland of fresh leaves and flowers that hangs to Kṛṣṇa’s feet. Rūpa Gosvāmī distinguishes it explicitly from the Vaijayantī, though devotional art often conflates the two: the Vanamālā is made of leaves and flowers and reaches the feet, while the Vaijayantī is made of flowers of five colours.
