In the Lalita-mādhava account she is drawn with Rādhā from the womb of Candrabhānu’s wife and placed in the womb of Vindhya’s wife, then carried off by Pūtanā. One of the two girls falls over Vidarbha and is later found by King Bhīṣmaka — part of Rūpa Gosvāmī’s larger reconciliation of the Vraja gopīs with Kṛṣṇa’s queens in Dvārakā.
