Remembrance — the contemplative recollection of the names, forms, qualities and pastimes of Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa. The Gauḍīya paddhatis, above all Dhyānacandra Gosvāmī’s Gauragovindārcana-smaraṇa-paddhati, develop it into a fully determinate meditative practice, fixing for each associate a grove, a direction, an age, a complexion, a dress, a characteristic service, a mantra and a dhyāna verse.
